Practical Courses by Jean
Dubuis.
These unique courses were written by Jean
Dubuis, and subsequently translated from French into English by Brigitte
Donvez . These were formerly distributed solely to members of The Philosophers
of Nature.
These courses should prove invaluable to the
sincere student. They represent the only courses of the their kind known to us,
in that each is a practical, operative teaching on the subject, written by an
acknowledged authority, and without an attempt to hide behind allegory.

Spagyrics and
Alchemy Our alchemical courses consists of two parts. All
processes are expressed clearly and are devoid of the secrecy often associated
with these teachings. The practice of Spagyrics and Alchemy can bring an
intimate relationship with Nature, and her invisible energies - life and
consciousness. One wishes to transmute themselves, to regenerate themselves, to
attain Inner Initiation. Here, alone in the temple, one can aspire to Wisdom.
Course:
Spagyrics (Plant Alchemy) This is a 2-volume, 48-lesson course
which teaches the preparation and uses of herbal elixirs, particularly the seven
planetary elixirs used to rebalance the spiritual centers in the human body.
Experimental methods to obtain the vegetable stone (Opus Minor), and related
processes are given in detail. Theoretical, practical and philosophical aspects
of alchemy are developed in the course materials. This is important preparation
for the Mineral Work which follows. The investment in laboratory equipment
necessary for the plant work is minimal.
Course:
Mineral Alchemy Mineral Alchemy is a 4-volume, 84-lesson course,
which builds on the information given in the Spagyrics course. The focus is on
practical work in the mineral and metallic realm: preparation of menstruums,
different paths for making animated mercury, separation of the three essentials,
and related works. Among those whose methods are considered in this course are:
Flamel, Philalethes, Newton, Von Bernus, Frater Albertus, Weidenfeld, Becker,
Glaser, Basil Valentine, Hollandus, Paracelsus, and many others. Author Dubuis
and those with whom he shared research have added many insights to begin forming
a methodology based on a substantial theoretical basis. Laboratory equipment
required for the metallic work can be substantial, so alternatives to reduce
costs are described where possible.
Course: Qabala The Qabala
instruction is a 3-volume, 72-lesson course. The material is largely practical
instruction, and differs from most information found in popular books on the
subject. This course is rather concentrated and does require some work, however,
it provides teachings that are often spread out over a period of thirty or more
years.
